When the flood occurs, a product called "Floating Elves" can effectively alert people to avoid deep-water areas, especially the low-lying sections of the city and the banks without railings, using the principle of water pressure triggering and laser devices to protect the lives and property safety.
I have been living in ningbo city for ten years. It is a coastal city, where floods occur frequently, due to the intersection of cold and warm air mass. Therefore, I want to solve some of the problems people encounter in the floods by design.
By categoristy and investigating flood scenarios from news reports, I found that flood disasters are very common and not solved well.
I chose 25 problems from the mind map, and put forward corresponding solutions respectively.Considering feasibility, I selected chose 6 products for refinement. As people's perception of water depth is not accurate, I think it is urgent to address public affention. Thus, my final design goal is
How to remind people to avoid deep water during driving and walking.
